A checklist for moving furniture between Saudi cities

Moving between cities is different from moving within one: the distance is longer and coordinating pick-up and arrival matters more. This checklist helps you prepare.

Two weeks or more before

• Pinpoint the pick-up and destination cities and both neighbourhoods.
• Send your intercity moving request with the expected date.
• Decide what you’ll move and what you’ll let go of to reduce the volume.

One week before

• Confirm the date with our sales team after approving the quote.
• If your new home isn’t ready, request temporary storage.
• Pack small items into boxes numbered by room.

The day before

• Empty and dry the fridge, and unplug appliances.
• Keep documents and valuables with you.
• Make sure the vehicle can reach the building in both cities.

Delivery day

Check the items with the team on arrival, and have a room plan ready to speed up unloading.
